It’s early October and the Freshmen seem to be adjusting to high school life better than any class yet!

We have just appointed our new Student Leadership team and we would like to congratulate them….. Nick Abbott, Emily Calabrese, Nicole Callini, Noah Dal Zovo, Casey DellaGuistina, Julia Harlow, Brandon Magni, Carolynn Palmer, Brianna Pisano and Joe Selva. These students will be working with me and Ms. Sibilia, our guidance counselor to make the Terrier House program better and better. I will keep you informed of their progress and their achievements throughout the year.

October 13th is the first distribution of progress reports for students. Please look over your son/daughter’s report and contact their teacher immediately if there are any areas of concern. Remember that every teacher can be contacted through e-mail or you can call Mrs. Sibilia directly at 413-263-3485.

This year your student will be taking the Science MCAS as a requirement for graduation. They must obtain a score of 220 in order to Pass. We are extremely lucky in the Terrier House to have excellent teachers who have provided our students with continued quality instruction. Last year over 93% of our science students passed the MCAS the first time! Hooray!

Look forward to the up-coming freshmen event of the year…..Homecoming Dance! This is the one and only event that is sponsored by the freshmen class so we encourage all freshmen to attend. The dance is held at the school and it is generally enjoyed by students in all grade levels.
